Creating a true centrepiece for our client's dining room, this large live edge table is a celebration of nature's unique artistry. Measuring 2.2 metres in length, it was designed to comfortably seat eight, making it the perfect hub for family meals and entertaining guests.

The defining feature of this table is the exceptionally rare and characterful spalted beech from which it is made. Spalting is a natural process caused by fungi, which creates intricate and dramatic patterns within the timber. The dark, inky black zone lines traverse the slab like a map, separating areas of warm, creamy colour and creating a stunning marbled effect that cannot be replicated. Each line and colour variation tells the story of the wood's life.
